Rossell India has reported a net loss of Rs 10 crore for the fourth quarter (January-March) of 2015-16 fiscal.
Losses for the period came down by 23 per cent against Rs 13 crore it reported in the year-ago period.
During the quarter under review, the company saw its total income increase by 14 per cent to Rs 32 crore (Rs 28 crore).
For the full fiscal (FY16), the company reported a 140 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 9.6 crore against Rs 4 crore it reported in the year-ago-period. Total income increased by 15 per cent to Rs 161 crore (Rs 140 crore).
During the year, Rossell reported increased profits (before tax) from its tea – cultivation, manufacture and sale – and aviation products and services businesses. Losses in hospitality sector, however, saw a minor increase (on a Y-o-Y basis).
