Leading motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield Motors has announced price revisions for its range of models following change in tax rates under GST system. Prices for the bikes in 350cc category have been decreased, while its higher CC models have seen a price increase in the range of ₹301 to ₹2,717 in Chennai.
The company has cut the prices of Bullet 350 by ₹1,661 and Bullet Electra by ₹2,211. Prices of Classic 350 and Thunderbird 350 have been slashed by ₹2,015 and ₹2,165, respectively. Classic 500 will be costlier by ₹1,490, while Classic Desert Strom and Classic Chrome will see a hike of ₹1,635 and ₹1,477, respectively. Thunderbird 500 and Bullet 500 will be dearer by ₹1,359 and ₹1,169, respectively. Price of Himalayan will go up by ₹2,717, while Continental GT will see an increase of ₹301.
