Reliance Power has posted a marginal rise in net profit at ₹269 crore (₹266 crore) for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
Total income was up 9 per cent at ₹1,359 crore (₹1,248 crore). For the full year, net profit was ₹1,027 crore (₹1,011 crore) and total income ₹5,148 crore (₹4,927 crore).
Reliance Power said it is on track to reach 3,960 MW of generation in the current year.
R Power’s 1,200 MW Rosa Plant, in Uttar Pradesh, generated over eight billion units with plant availability factor is 95 per cent. At the 4,000-MW Sasan power plant, in Madhya Pradesh, 2,000 MW is operational. Coal production at the mines associated with the plant had commenced.
Further, the 600-MW Butibori plant in Maharashtra was operational and power is being supplied under a 25-year purchase agreement, the company said.
On Monday, the company’s scrip closed 9.85 per cent higher at ₹85.90 on the BSE.
