Textile firm S Kumars Nationwide Ltd has posted a decline of 76.09 per cent in its consolidated net profit to Rs 24.34 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company had posted net profit of Rs 101.81 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, S Kumars Nationwide Ltd (SKNL) said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,250.29 crore for the second quarter, as compared to Rs 1,215.15 crore during the same period of fiscal 2011-12.
The SKNL scrip closed 1.85 per cent down at Rs 13.30 on the BSE.
