Sadbhav Engineering Ltd on Saturday reported a 27.51 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 27.35 crore for the quarter ended December 2015.
The infrastructure company had clocked a net profit of Rs 37.73 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
Its income from operations grew by 4.27 per cent to Rs 753.09 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 722.27 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company said its construction expenses rose by 1.89 per cent to Rs 608 crore during the quarter under review as against the corresponding quarter of last year while employee expenses rose by 17.09 per cent to Rs 31.09 crore.
Its revenue from transport sector stood at Rs 559.64 crore during the quarter while that from irrigation sector stood at Rs 100.35 crore, it said.
The company’s revenue from mining sector stood at Rs 92.15 crore while from power generation, the same stood at Rs 0.94 crore.
