Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) on Tuesday said the company registered two per cent growth in the production of hot metal and saleable steel. For crude steel, the growth was one per cent.
The company said in a statement that in the first nine months of 2012-13, it produced 10.7 million tonnes of hot metal, 10.09 mt of crude steel and 9.25 mt of saleable steel.
