Sanghi Industries Ltd on Monday reported a 234 per cent jump in net profit in the third quarter of 2012-13, ended March 31, 2013, compared to the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
While the sales were Rs 298.1 crore (Rs 297.1 crore), a marginal increase of 0.3 per cent, the net profit stood at Rs 41.9 crore (Rs 12.5 crore).
For the first nine months of 2012-1, profit after tax (PAT) zoomed to Rs 81.6 crore against a net loss of Rs 21.8 crore in the corresponding nine months last fiscal.
Net sales were up by 17.3 per cent at Rs 797.7 crore (Rs 680 crore), said Alok Sanghi, Director, in a release here.
