Sanofi appoints new country head for pharmaceuticals

Drug-maker Sanofi India has appointed N Rajaram to head its pharmaceutical operations in the country.

He would report to Shailesh Ayyangar, Sanofi’s Vice President (South Asia), and India Managing Director.

Rajaram would be the country head and general manager (pharmaceutical operations) in India, from April 2014, Sanofi said.

Rajaram joins Sanofi India with over two decade in FMCG sector with Hindustan Unilever, and in the telecom industry with Airtel. He will be responsible for driving the company’s ambitious growth plans in the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare segments, the note added.
