Sarovar Hotels has strengthened its foothold in Africa by signing the group’s third property in the region — The Premiere, Nairobi in Kenya. The upscale hotel is slated to open in 2015. This will be the group’s third property in Africa after New Africa in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania and The Heron Portico in Nairobi.
The 144-room property is located in the airport complex of Embakasi, aimed at tapping the business traveller in Nairobi. The hotel will also offer dining and conferencing venues complete with many modern facilities.
Anil Madhok, Managing Director, Sarovar Hotels and Resorts said, “The Premiere will be our third hotel in Africa and second in Nairobi. Africa has a huge potential in the hospitality segment.”
