SAS has tied up with the Mumbai-based Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) to impart training in analytics to NMIMS students.
Both of them aim to establish a centre of excellence in analytics and plan to design specialised programmes that would be jointly taught at various campuses of NMIMS, according to a press statement.
The US-based SAS has the highest market share in advanced analytics globally.
“Marketing analytics is the future…to be able to individualise a service is the biggest challenge of a company today. The relations with SAS will enrich our programmes and make it industry centric; this in return will help our students learn the requirements of the market,” said Rajan Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of NMIMS University.
NMIMS has campuses in Mumbai, Shirpur, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
