Shriram EPC Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 41.5 crore on revenue of Rs 1,862 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012. The company has recommended a dividend of Rs 1.20 a share for the year, says a company press release.
The company booked its highest-ever standalone turnover of Rs 604 crore in a single quarter (in the fourth quarter). The traction in revenue was driven by progress on order backlog in the process and metallurgy segment — a 50-MW solar power project for Abhijeet Projects Ltd and an 80 MW captive power project of Suryadev Alloys Pvt. Ltd.
The consolidated order book was at Rs 3,803 crore on March 31, 2012.
The company received an order for its municipal services segment for Rs 165 crore from the Kerala Water Authority to set up a water distribution system for the city of Kozhikode and adjoining villages, the release said.
