Siemens Gamesa on Friday said it has bagged a contract from Eurowind Energy to supply 18 onshore turbines having a total capacity of 77 MW for Thorup-Sletten, the largest onshore wind farm in Denmark.
The company did not disclose the size of the order.
The installation of the Thorup-Sletten wind farm will start in October this year and Siemens Gamesa will also be responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farm for 20 years through a long-term service program tailored for Eurowind, a company statement said.
The 18 onshore turbines will have a total capacity of 77 MW and an electricity production equivalent to the average annual consumption of around 65,000 households.
