Siemens AG intends to invest up to $1 billion to strengthen and expand its business in Brazil over the next five years.
The investment would be across its portfolio comprising energy, industry, infrastructure & cities and healthcare.
Special focus will be on localising production and services, besides research and development.
“Our portfolio is geared to the country’s requirements, and we are investing continuously to build up our capabilities,’’ said Mr Paulo Stark, CEO, Siemens Brazil.
