Singareni Collieries Company Ltd has announced a bonus of Rs 57,000 for its employees along with a festival advance of Rs 25,000, working out to Rs 82,000 in all.
The performance-linked Deepawali bonus of Rs 57,000 has been hiked from Rs 54,000 disbursed last year. This amount would be credited to employees' accounts on October 2.
The Dasara festival advance of Rs 25,000 is up from Rs 18,000 given last year. It would be handed over on September 22.
N Sridhar, Chairman and Managing Director, said the company's total outgo towards bonus and festival advance was estimated at Rs 456 crore.
