Skoda Auto India Chairman and Managing Director Sudhir Rao has quit the company after five years.
Rao had joined the Czech Republic carmaker's Indian unit in January 2012, after a stint in various leading companies in India, including Renault India as the CEO, General Motors India and Avtec Engines. He has over more than 25 years of experience in the industry.
Confirming the development, a Skoda Auto India, spokesperson said: “Sudhir Rao will be leaving Skoda Auto at his own request on June 30, 2017. We would like to thank Sudhir Rao for his commitment over many years and to wish him all the best in his future career. We will be announcing his successor in due course.”
