Somany Ceramics Ltd on Monday reported a 32.20 per cent rise in standalone net profit at ₹14.78 crore for the fourth quarter of financial year 2014-15 against ₹11.18 crore in the same period the previous fiscal.
Total net income from operations for the quarter stood at ₹459.11 crore, an increase of 12.08 per cent, compared with ₹409.62 crore in the corresponding quarter for 2013-14.
For the full financial year 2014-15, it recorded a net profit of ₹44.38 crore, an increase of 58.33 per cent compared with ₹28.03 crore for financial year 2013-14. The total net income for operations rose 22.33 per cent at ₹1,541.05 crore for financial year 2014-15 compared with ₹1,259.67 crore for the previous fiscal year.
Abhishek Somany, JMD, said: “The increase in consumer confidence has made us reinforce investments in capacity additions to meet the heightened demand.”
