Hindustan Zinc has appointed a new Deputy Chief Finance Officer and Chief Operating Officer to support the expansion of its operations, according to a press statement.
The company has appoined former CFO of Lafarge India, Sonal Shrivastava as Dy. CFO. Srivastava is a Chemical Engineer from BIT Sindri and has a Masters in Management Studies from JBIMS Mumbai.
Sonal Shrivastava brings with her rich professional experience covering Finance & Control, Compliance, Purchase, Legal, Audit, M&A, Capital Market fund raising, Strategy & Business development, Direct and Indirect tax, Shared Services and IT, according to a press statement.
Hindustan Zinc has also appointed Pankaj Kumar as the new Chief Operating Officer (Smelters) subsequent to Vikas Sharma moving to Balco in an elevated role - CEO of BALCO.
B.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur and PGDBM from XLRI Jamshedpur, Pankaj Kumar has his previous stint in Tata Steel, Mittal Steel, Sterlite Copper and Adani Ports.
