Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd has registered a 35 per cent growth in its consolidated profit-after-tax at Rs 63.98 crore during first (Apri-June) quarter of 2014-15 against Rs 47.22 crore recorded during the corresponding period last fiscal.
Consolidated operating profit for Q1 stood at Rs 265.03 crore (Rs 137.24 crore). Consolidated total income went up 20 per cent to Rs 942.64 crore (Rs 786.67 crore). Consolidated disbursements declined 9 per cent to Rs 3,217 crore (Rs 3,520.54 crore).
In a statement, Hemant Kanoria, CMD of Srei Infrastructure, said: “From the third quarter onwards of this financial year, we expect investments to restart in the (infrastructure) sector which will help augment our business and profits.”
