Star Sports 2 and Star Cricket are gearing up for the ICC Champions Trophy. While Star Sports 2 will broadcast the event in Hindi, Star Cricket and Star Cricket HD will showcase the tournament with English commentary. The tournament begins on May 30 and the broadcaster also plans to add telecast features such as UltraCam and StarCom 360. While UltraCam will offer viewers super-slow, sharper and nuanced imagery, StarCam 360 will show never-seen-before 360-degree camera angles and panoramic views of key match moments, the company said. In a statement, Vijay Rajput, Chief Operating Officer, ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd, said, “With a range of special programming, on-air enhancements, brand new camera angles, state-of-the-art graphics along with a high quality team of analysts comprising some of the great names of international cricket, we intend to take fan engagement to a newer level.” It has also launched a high decibel marketing campaign, with the core theme of Zor Lagao Champion Banao , to promote the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2013.
