After several years, Sterling Holidays has added a new property – Woods n Spice in Thekkady, Kerala - to its 14-resort bouquet.
Announcing the launch, a press release from the company says the resort offers 53 rooms including mud houses, tree houses and tribal cottages, apart from standard rooms and suites.
It also features a temperature-controlled swimming pool and a wellness spa.
Quoting the company's Managing Director, Mr Ramesh Ramanathan, the release further says, “The opening of Woods n Spice in Thekkady is significant since it marks the beginning of the resurgence of Sterling Holidays in the vacation ownership and holidays segment.
Sterling already has an inventory of 1,258 rooms and cottages spread over 14 resorts across 12 locales – including Darjeeling, Gangtok, Goa, Kodaikanal, Lonavala, Manali, Munnar, Mussorrie, Ooty, Puri, Thekkady, Yelagiri and Yercaud.
Besides, the company is also in the process of doing up its existing resorts in phases.
