Sterlite Technologies Ltd (STL), a global data network solutions firm, has reported another year of solid financial performance.

In Q4 FY19, the company achieved its highest quarterly revenue of ₹1,179 crore, the highest quarterly EBITDA of ₹328 crore (up 38 per cent YoY) and the highest quarterly PAT of ₹165 crore (up 47 per cent YoY).

“The company’s steady growth over the last several quarters is a result of its strategic focus on offering data network solutions to an expanding global market of telcos, cloud companies, citizen networks and large enterprises,” the company said in a statement.

It added that in FY19, it acquired new customers and launched end-to-end solutions on the back of accelerated innovation and an agile supply chain.

The expanded clientele includes two of the world’s top cloud companies and several Tier-I telcos.

It had also entered into a partnership for network creation for one of the world’s largest greenfield 4G rollouts. Modernising the Navy’s digital communications network was another highlight.

The firm also filed most patents in a single year, taking its global patent filing count to 271.

With the acquisition of Metallurgica Bresciana in Italy, the company has strengthened its position in Europe and has acquired new product and customer portfolios.

With its silicon-to-software capability, the company designed and launched several network solutions.
