Japanese major Sumitomo Corporation is keen to establish a 4,000 MW ultra mega power project in Andhra Pradesh.
A representative of the corporation told BusinessLine that it would be based on ultra supercritical technology.
The project would be set up once all clearances are secured from Andhra Pradesh and Central Governments.
It takes about four years to complete such a project, he said.
