Sundram Fasteners Ltd has reported a 42 per cent jump in net profit for the second quarter of the current year, compared with the last corresponding quarter.
It has announced an interim dividend of 70 paise (70 per cent) a share.
For the quarter ended September 30, the TVS Group company reported a net profit of Rs 35.35 crore (Rs 24.87 crore) on a total income of Rs 501.7 crore (Rs 509 crore)
On the NSE, the company’s shares closed 12 per cent higher at Rs 40.55 against the previous close of Rs 36.10.
