US-headquartered renewable energy major, SunEdison, has commissioned 146 MW of solar power plants in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. A press release from the company says that these plants were commissioned last week.
With this, SunEdison’s solar assets in India have crossed 470 MW. Pashupathy Gopalan, SunEdison’s India head, has said in the press release that the company would add 1,500 MW of solar and wind assets in India in the next 18 months.
