Supreme Ind net falls marginally to Rs 24.54 cr

Supreme Industries today posted a 2 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 24.54 crore for the quarter ended September 30.

The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 25.06 crore in the year ago period.

The company’s total income during July—September quarter of the current financial year rose to Rs 774.30 crore from Rs 759.92 crore in the year ago period, as per company’s BSE filing.

The company had sold 57,226 tonnes of plastic goods and achieved net turnover of Rs 755.21 crore during the quarter against sales of 49,110 tonnes and net product turnover of Rs 715.02 crore.

The company’s shares are trading at Rs 622.80 down 0.68 per cent on the BSE from the previous close.
