Suzlon has signed a binding term sheet and received advance payment for execution of 197.40 MW from a renewable energy Independent Power Producer.
The project, a repeat order from the IPP, is to be executed in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh by February 2017, Suzlon said in a statement.
Once the due diligence is completed and construction contracts are inked, Suzlon will supply, install and commission 47 wind turbines of S97-120 m hybrid tower and 47 units of S111-90 m tubular tower wind turbine with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. It will also offer operation and maintenance services for 12 years through an integrated service package.
Suzlon has recently commissioned first wind power project in India of 50.40 MW at Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) for the same customer.
