Swedish brand Husqvarna, which is into manufacture of outdoor power products used in forestry and landscaping, has established its presence in India.
Husqvarna India, the Indian arm of the three-century-old Swedish company, is now focussing on establishing a firm foothold through its dealer network across the country, said Rajesh Raghavan, Managing Director.
The company has a network of 60 dealers and is looking to grow this to over 100 by the end of this calendar year.
“The market potential is huge and our products are engineered for tough conditions such as in India, enabling users to handle sturdy jobs efficiently,” Raghavan added.
