Leading air-cooler manufacturer Symphony Ltd has reported a 50 per cent rise in net profit and 33 per cent in sales in the third quarter of 2013-14 ended March 31, as compared to the previous fiscal.
According to a company release, while net sales were Rs 113.29 crore (Rs 85.18 crore), net profit stood at Rs 27.03 crore (Rs 18 crore) during the review period.
Nrupesh Shah, Executive Director, said the growth is on account of buoyancy and a strong performance across all business verticals. The domestic residential air coolers business grew 49 per cent, while exports managed 94 per cent growth during the nine months of FY 2013-14.
