Symphony Ltd, a market leader in the air-cooling industry, on Monday said its profit after tax increased by 99 per cent while sales registered a growth of 71 per cent in the first nine months of 2010-11. Declaring its unaudited results for the period ended March 31, 2011, the company said its revenues were Rs 178.73 crore (Rs 104.53 crore) while PAT stood at Rs 33.21 crore (Rs 16.70 crore).
The earning per share (EPS) during the review period was Rs 47.47 (Rs 23.28). On Monday, the company's share closed 6.54 per cent higher at Rs 1,580.45. Despite a sharp rise in input costs and an overall inflationary scenario, the company was able to manage the prices, according to a company statement here.
