Tata Motors on Monday launched the Tata Indigo e-CS VX sedan, which it claims to be the most fuel-efficient sedan in the country. The CR4 Common Rail Diesel engine of the sedan will enable a mileage of 25 kilometres per litre, according to a company press statement. The Tata Indigo e-CS VX is also available with the MPFi petrol engine. Both these engines are compliant with BS4 emission norms. While the diesel variant is priced at Rs 5,80,339 (ex-showroom Delhi), for the CR4 diesel engine, the petrol variant is priced at Rs 497,727 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Tata Motors scrip was down by 0.17 per cent to close at Rs 753.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
