Tata Motors total sales of commercial and passenger vehicles (including exports) fell to 61,998 vehicles in February from 92,119 units in the same month a year ago.
The company’s domestic sales of commercial and passenger vehicles stood at 58,002 units during the month under review.
Cumulative sales (including exports) for the company for the fiscal were at 736,454 units.
COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
Tata Motors’ sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market stood at 47,389 units in February 2013. Light Commercial Vehicle sales (LCV) stood at 36,760 units, while Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) sales stood at 10,629 vehicles.
Cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal stood at 4,80,330 units. Cumulative LCV sales were 351,801 units and M&HCV sales at 128,529.
PASSENGER VEHICLES
The company’s passenger vehicles sales in February 2013 stood at 10,613 vehicles. The sales of Nano, Indica, Indigo range in February 2013 were at 7,769 units. The Sumo, Safari, Aria, Venture range sales stood at 2,844 units.
Exports
The company exported 3,996 vehicles in February, while cumulative exports for the fiscal stood at 47,279 units.
