Tata Motors’ global wholesales fell 15.76 per cent to 87,316 vehicles in September compared with 1,03,656 units sold during the same month a year ago.
The company’s wholesale (defined as sales to dealer networks) numbers also include the sales of its UK-based luxury car unit Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).
The automobile manufacturer’s cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 5,03,887 units, the company said in a statement.
Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles — Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range — stood at 38,049 units. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal stood at 2,37,207 units.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles last month stood at 49,267 units, while cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for the fiscal stood at 266,680 vehicles.
Global wholesales of Tata passenger vehicles were 13,393 numbers, while cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 74,129 units.
Global wholesales for JLR were at 35,874 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 6,438 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 37,411 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 29,436 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 155,140 vehicles.
Cumulative wholesales for JLR for the fiscal were 192,551 vehicles.
