Tata Motors’ global wholesales fell 22 per cent to 98,837 units in February compared with 1,27,318 vehicles sold during the same month a year ago.
Wholesales - sales to dealer networks - include that of luxury car brand Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).
The cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at 10,80,421 units, the company said in a statement.
Commercial vehicles
Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range – stood at 52,175 units. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 5,35,109 units.
Passenger vehicles
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles stood at 46,662 vehicles, while cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 5,45,312 units.
Global wholesales of Tata passenger vehicles were 11,177 units and cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 2,15,932 units.
Global wholesales for JLR were 35,485 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 7,102 units and cumulative wholesales were 50,191 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 28,383 units and cumulative wholesales were 279,189 vehicles.
