Tata Motors Group global wholesales in September have gone up 24 per cent to 1.07 lakh units, even as cumulative sales for the fiscal (April-September) rose 6 per cent at 5.46 lakh units. Worldwide sales of commercial vehicles under the Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera ranges rose 28 per cent at 51,719 units.
Sales of all passenger vehicles increased 21 per cent at 55,539 units. Global sales of Tata branded passenger vehicles and the distribution of Fiat cars in India was up 5 per cent at 27,900 units. Meanwhile, sales of Jaguar Land Rover in September rose 42 per cent at 27,639 vehicles – Jaguar sold 5,525 units (14 per cent up), while Land Rover sales stood at 22,114 units (51 per cent higher).
