Tata Motors on Saturday hiked the prices of some its passenger vehicles and all of its commercial vehicles by a range of Rs 3,000-30,000 due to rising input costs with immediate effect.
While the company hiked the prices of passenger cars between Rs 3,000-15,000, for the commercial vehicles the hike ranges between Rs 1,500-30,000, the company said in a statement.
The flagship Indica and Indigo family would be dearer by a range of Rs 3,000-Rs 15,000 depending on the model. In utility vehicles, the price increase on Tata Sumo, Grande MK II, Safari and Xenon ranges between Rs 8,700-14,500.
While the commercial vehicle would cost Rs 1,500-30,000 more, it said.
