Tata Motors’ total sales (including exports) for both its commercial and passenger vehicles segments continued to decline in November.
The company posted a 38 per cent fall in total sales at 40,863, compared to 66,500 in the year-ago period.
Domestic sales of commercial and passenger vehicles fell to 37,192 units (62,354 units), it said in a statement.
Cumulative sales (including exports) for the fiscal stood at 407,377 units (548,168 units), down 25 percent.
The company’s sales of commercial vehicles, light commercial vehicles (LCV) and medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) stood at 26,816 units, 19, 993 units and 6,823 units, respectively.
Cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal were 279,683 units, while those of LCV and M&HCV were 206,804 units and 72,879 units, respectively.
