Tata Motors has partnered with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers to develop the professional registration of engineers in India. This association will also provide opportunities for Indian engineers to achieve an internationally recognised standard of excellence.
Tim Leverton, Head - Advanced and Product Engineering of Tata Motors said: “We are delighted that the professional development of Tata Motors Engineers can now be formally accredited under the worldwide recognised framework, offered by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Tata Motors and the Institution will also work together to build networks in industry and academia that can contribute to raising the standard of engineering across the subcontinent.”
