Tata Motors is marking its re-entry into the Australian market by launching a range of light commercial vehicles through an agreement with local distributor Fusion Automotive.

“…this marks an important milestone in the continued expansion of our global footprint,” Managing Director Karl Slym said in a statement.

The Indian company will introduce its 4x2, 4x4, single and crew-cab variants, with Euro V Turbo diesel engines in Australia.

“The vehicle range, starting with LCVs, will be competitively priced...

“There is no tougher place on earth to test vehicles than on some of the toughest and most demanding roads across India, and we believe that gives us a competitive advantage with the range of Tata Motors products,” said Fusion Automotive Managing Director Darren Bowler.
