Tata Power Strategic Engineering Division ( Tata Power SED) bagged an order for supply of Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System (CIBMS) to Border Security Force (BSF). The order awarded by the Ministry of Home Affairs is an initial phase of the larger Border Management project of the Ministry that would enable round the clock surveillance of India’s borders, the company said in a press statement.
Tata Power SED will supply its indigenously designed & developed CIBMS for the pilot project and extend the system to all types of terrain as and when required by BSF.
According to Rahul Chaudhry, CEO of Tata Power SED, while the company will create an indigenous solution meeting BSF’s contextual and operational requirements.
