After serving three years as CEO of Tata Starbucks, Avani Davda has decided to quit the joint venture company to pursue opportunities outside the company.
She will be succeeded by Sumi Ghosh who has been appointed by the Tata Starbucks board as the new CEO with effect from January 1, 2016.
Sumi Ghosh most recently served as the Vice-President of Starbucks Midwestern US region. He has been with the company for eight years.
Avani and Sumi will work closely together through early February during this transition.
