Tech Mahindra will set up a Center for Excellence in Robotics and Analytics Department at the International Institute of Digital Technologies that will come up in Tirupati.
The company will also facilitate employment for 1,000 people at the Tech Mahindra facility in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
These moves were agreed upon at the meeting Tech Mahindra Chief Executive Officer, CP Gurnani, had with AP Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada. The two discussed the CM’s vision to make AP a technologically advanced state, according to an official press release.
Agreeing to serve as one of the chief advisors to the CM’s core team, Gurnani extended all necessary support for the development of IT sector in the newly formed state of AP. IT Advisor JA Chowdhary, Tech Mahindra Executive Vice-President AS Murthy and others were present.
