Texmaco reports ₹4-cr Q1 loss

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has said it began executing a defence sector order of 974 wagons in June. The Adventz Group company also said it commenced export of steel bridge girders to Bangladesh’s rail bridge project on River Meghna during the April-June quarter. It, however, said that “performance for the quarter was severely impacted due to the abrupt downward revision of price by Indian Railways”. The firm reported a net loss of ₹4.10 crore in the first quarter of 2015-16 against a net loss of ₹7.84 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
