Titagarh Wagons Ltd reported a lower net loss at ₹6.86 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, against ₹17.10 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company did not accept the revised prices for wagons from the Railways, terming them “uneconomical”. This impacted the company’s Q2 performance. Titagarh said in Q2 it began bulk production of MEMU (mainline electric multiple unit) coaches.
