Toyota Kirloskar Motor has suffered a 57 per cent reduction in total sales during March this year because of the workers’ strike. Its sales dropped to 9,160 units in March compared with 21,143 units during the same period last year. “We started limited operations from March 18 with the help of our non-unioniaed team members, majority of whom are supervisors,” N Raja, Senior Vice-President for Sales and Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said in a press statement.
