Toyota Kirloskar has said that it will lift the lock out of its factories on March 24. Those who are willing to return to work should sign an undertaking of good conduct, a press statement from the company said. But union members said that no decision has been arrived at about the increase in wages, which was the main demand of the workers. The management has, however, said that those who sign an undertaking of good conduct will be given an increase of 3,100, which is ₹50 more than what had been offered earlier. The workers had demanded a wage hike of ₹4,000. The management said it will not revoke the suspension of 17 workers.
