Kitchen appliances firm TTK Prestige today reported a 32.57 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 37.2 crore for the quarter ended December 31, on account of higher sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 28.06 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Its net sales stood at Rs 447.83 crore, up 16.70 per cent from Rs 383.74 crore in the year-ago period, TTK Prestige said in a BSE filing.
Overall expenses during the quarter were at Rs 394.88 crore, up 15.12 per cent compared with Rs 343 crore in the same quarter last year.
Shares of TTK Prestige were trading 4.21 per cent down at Rs 4,148.80 apiece on the BSE.
