TVS Logistics has raised Rs 268 crore from KKR and Goldman Sachs to support the company's expansion.
The Chennai-based company said that KKR, a leading global investment firm, will invest Rs 242 crore (about $47 million).
Goldman Sachs, a leading global investment bank and initial outside investor in the company, will make an add-on investment.
The primary proceeds will be used to expand the company's logistics business.
This is the second time TVS Logistics has received private equity funding.
Mr R. Dinesh, Managing Director, TVS Logistics Services, in a press release said that the additional investment would allow the company to continue its expansion both through acquisitions and organic growth.
