Two and three wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company recorded a marginal dip in total sales at 1,65,696 units in February 2013.
The Chennai-based auto major had sold 1,72,061 units in February 2012, a company statement said.
Two-wheeler sales declined in February 2013 to 1,60,895 units (1,68,996 units).Domestic sales stood at 1,42,800 units (1,52,796 units). Sales of motorcycles were 60,985 units (63,019 units). Sales of scooters were 30,611 units (36,693 units).
The company witnessed a 22 per cent jump in exports at 21,896 units (17,960 units).Two-wheeler exports grew by 12 per cent to 18,095 units (16,200 units).Three-wheeler sales soared 57 per cent to 4,801 units (3,065 units).
