TVS Motor Company today reported a 5.77 per cent decline in total sales at 1,61,908 units in November.
The company had reported sales of 1,71,837 units during the same month of the previous year, TVS Motor said in a statement.
Total two—wheeler sales declined 6.7 per cent to 1,55,604 units from 1,66,783 units, it said.
Domestic two—wheeler sales dipped 9.88 per cent to 1,35,218 units from 1,50,056 units. Two—wheeler exports rose to 20,386 units from 16,727 units.
Motorcycle sales declined 6.14 per cent to 61,471 units as against 65,494 in the same month last year. However, scooter sales grew 2.29 per cent to 38,331 units.
Total exports during the month stood at 25,338 units as against 20,080 units.
TVS Motor said three—wheeler sales were 6,304 units compared with 5,054 in November last year.
