TVS Motor Company’s total sales decreased 5 per cent to 1.53 lakh units in July from 1.61 lakh units in the same period last year.
The company’s two-wheeler sales dropped 7 per cent to 1.46 lakh units (1.57 lakh units). Domestic sales dipped 10 per cent to 1.26 lakh units (1.40 lakh).
Motorcycles sales grew 8 per cent to 53,355 units (57,886 units). Scooter sales stood at 36,900 units, a drop of 10 per cent (40,895 units).
Total exports grew 27 per cent to 19,142 units (26,145 units). Two-wheeler exports grew 15 per cent to 17,092 units (20,140 units). Three -wheeler sales increased 112 per cent from 3,301 units to 7,005 units.
